Idaho Elopement Photography Review

“My wife and I had an elopement style wedding at a state park in Idaho with Tiana as our photographer. She beautifully captured all of the important moments, family and group photos, and more, despite it being a very fast paced wedding with tight time constraints. And she did it all seemingly with ease! She was very professional and had a sweet and calming presence that my wife and I really appreciated with all the stresses of the wedding, and all of the photos turned out absolutely stunning. We highly recommend Tiana to everyone!“ ~Kaleb & Anna

Tips for Planning Your Adventurous Idaho Elopement

1. Spring through Autumn is Perfect

If you want to beat the crowds (and the summer heat), the best time of year to elope in Idaho is May-June and September. The weather is usually dry, warm, and sunny without being too hot on the shoulder seasons. Plus, there’s going to be far less crowds this time of year!

2. Opt for a Sunrise or Sunset Ceremony

The best lighting is always the first few hours after sunrise and the last few hours before sunset, which is why I always recommend having your ceremony at the beginning or end of the day.

3. Choose a Weekday to Avoid Crowds

While Idaho isn’t nearly as crowded as many other parts of the country, there are some popular locations that draw quite the crowds. If privacy and seclusion are a high priority for your day, the be way to avoid other people is to elope on a weekday instead of a weekend.

4. Find a Local Photographer (that’s me!)
